Information We Collect
We collect the information you give us when you request a quote, place an order, open a trade account, submit a refund claim or subscribe to our newsletter. This typically includes your name, company name, email address, telephone number, delivery address and VAT number where applicable.
We also collect limited technical information automatically, such as your browser type, device type, approximate location and the pages you view on our website.
How Information Is Used
Your information is used to quote and process orders, arrange delivery, issue invoices and statements, handle warranty and refund claims, provide customer support and — where you have opted in — send you product and pricing updates.
We use aggregated, non-identifying information to understand which products and pages are most useful so we can improve our catalogue and website.
Payment Security
Card payments are processed by a PCI-DSS compliant payment provider over an encrypted connection. We do not store full card numbers, CVV codes or card expiry details on our systems.
EFT and account payments are reconciled against your invoice reference by our finance team.
Data Protection
We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including access controls, encryption in transit and restricted internal permissions, to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
Records are retained only for as long as required to fulfil orders, meet warranty obligations and comply with South African tax and company law.
Third Party Services
We share only the information necessary with service providers who help us operate: payment gateways, courier and freight partners, accounting systems and email delivery services.
These providers are contractually required to process your information only for the purpose we appointed them for, and may not use it for their own marketing.
Customer Rights
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to direct marketing and withdraw consent at any time.
Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link. Requests relating to your information are actioned within a reasonable period after we have verified your identity.
